As restrictions are easing in Myanmar and the number of COVID-19 cases are decreasing, ADRA Myanmar has approved for certain offices to reopen.
The decision to reopen is in part to approvals given by the local authorities following a series of health inspections to ensure that ADRA Myanmar is following safe practices for its staff in the workplace.
Both the Yangon and Shan project office in Lashio have been approved to reopen effective from today, 16 July 2020. The remaining project offices in Hpa-An, Kayin State and Gangaw, Magway Region, may reopen once they have met the requirements from local authorities and have been approved.
The safety of our staff and those we work with remain a top priority for ADRA Myanmar. As such, a rotating roster is in place to limit the number of essential staff in the office at any given time between working hours from Monday to Friday. In addition to this, staff must wear masks at all times, practice social distancing and maintain common hygiene practices, such as washing hands regularly.
ADRA Myanmar has designated a Crisis Management Committee (CMC) elected to make decisions on the safety and security of ADRA Myanmar staff and operations during this pandemic. A Safety and Security Plan is also regularly updated as rules and restrictions change as well as a Business Continuity Plan.

ရန်ကုန်နှင့် ရှမ်းပြည်နယ်မြောက်ပိုင်း၊ လားရှိုးမြို့ရှိ ရုံးများကို ၂၀၂၀ ပြည့်နှစ်၊ ဇူလိုင်လ ၁၆ ရက်နေ့မှစတင်၍ ပြန်လည်ဖွင့်လှစ်ရန် အတည်ပြုခဲ့ပါသည်။ ထို့ပြင်ကရင်ပြည်နယ်၊ ဘားအံမြို့နှင့် မကွေးတိုင်းဒေသကြီး၊ ဂန့်ဂေါမြို့ရှိ စီမံကိန်းရုံးခွဲများကိုမူ ဒေသအာဏာပိုင်များ၏ လိုအပ်ချက်များကို ပြည့်မီအတည်ပြုပြီးသည်နှင့် ပြန်လည်ဖွင့်လှစ်မည်လည်းဖြစ်ပါသည်။
