A teacher, Ma Nan Shwe is from Tangyan Township, Shan State. She is 18 years old, and she has four family members. Her parents are working on a farm and a small business for their income. She has 3 years of teaching experience in the school.
“I also faced many challenges when I started grade 5 in middle school. There were many children who stopped their education after the primary level. However, I was able to continue my education with the help of my aunt”. She said.
In 2022, she joined a 14 days summer vocational teacher training supported by the CASE2Learn project. The training gives her more knowledge and information for her career and a better understanding of education.
“I learned and was able to share about the knowledge and attitude of a good teacher, creating opportunities for children’s education, and how to engage the community in children’s education.”
She is one of the teachers from (SVT) teachers trained in the CASE2Learn project funded by the European Union in partnership with ADRA Germany, ADRA UK, and RISE, reaching remote ethnic communities to increase access to education services.
Summer Vacation Training is usually organized from March to May across the RISE’s network. The training aims to upgrade existing community and national school teachers (or new teachers who will begin service in the following year) in student-centred pedagogical approaches and subject knowledge and to enable the sharing of experiences, knowledge, and motivation amongst local teachers.
She learned some subjects related to teacher roles and responsibilities, multi-grade teaching methods, general teaching methods, school-based peer learning, creating teaching and learning materials, questioning skills, and learning styles from the SVT training.
“I am glad to have a chance to participate in this training. I have not only learned a lot of teaching methods but can also share knowledge and build relationships with other participants. I feel energetic and motivated by joining this training.”
ဆရာဖြစ်သင်တန်းများ တိုးတက်လာစေခြင်း
အသက် ၁၈ နှစ်အရွယ် ဆရာမ မနန်းရွှေသည် ရှမ်းပြည်နယ် တန့်ယန်းမြို့နယ်တွင်နေထိုင်ပြီး မိသားစုဝင် လေးဦးရှိသည်။ သူမ၏မိဘများသည် စားဝတ်နေရေးအတွက် လယ်ယာအလုပ်နှင့် အသေးစားလုပ်ငန်းတစ်ခု လုပ်ကိုင်ကြသည်။ သူမသည် စာသင်ကြားရေးကဏ္ဍ သင်ကြားရေးအတွေ့အကြုံ ၃ နှစ်ရှိသည်။
“အလယ်တန်းကျောင်းမှာ ၅ တန်းစတက်တုန်းကလည်း စိန်ခေါ်မှုတွေ အများကြီး ကြုံခဲ့ရတယ်။ မူလတန်းပြီးလို့ ပညာသင်ကြားခွင့် ရပ်သွားတဲ့ ကလေးတွေလည်း အများကြီးရှိတယ်။ ဒါပေမဲ့ ကျွန်မကတော့ အဒေါ်အကူအညီနဲ့ ပညာဆက်သင်နိုင်ခဲ့တယ်” ဟု ဆိုသည်။
၂၀၂၂ ခုနှစ်တွင် CASE2Learn စီမံကိန်းမှ ပံ့ပိုးပေးသည့် ၁၄ ရက်ကြာ နွေရာသီ အသက်မွေးဝမ်းကြောင်း ဆရာဖြစ်သင်တန်းသို့ တက်ရောက်ခဲ့သည်။ အဆိုပါသင်တန်းသည် သူမ၏ အသက်မွေးဝမ်းကြောင်းအတွက် အသိပညာနှင့် အချက်အလက်များကို ပိုမိုရရှိစေပြီး ပညာရေးအကြောင်းကိုလည်း ပိုမိုနားလည်လာစေသည်။
“ဆရာကောင်းတစ်ယောက်ရဲ့ အသိပညာနဲ့ စိတ်နေသဘောထားတို့၊ ကလေးတွေရဲ့ ပညာရေးအခွင့်အလမ်းတွေ ဖန်တီးပေးနိုင်ပြီး ကလေးတွေရဲ့ ပညာရေးမှာ အသိုင်းအဝိုင်းနဲ့ ထိတွေ့ဆက်ဆံပုံတွေကို သင်ယူပြီး မျှဝေနိုင်ခဲ့တယ်။”
ဥရောပသမဂ္ဂမှ ရန်ပုံငွေပံ့ပိုးပေးထားပြီး မိတ်ဖက် RISE ၊ ADRA Germany၊ ADRA UK တို့နှင့် ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်နေသော CASE2Learn စီမံကိန်းအတွင်း လေ့ကျင့်သင်ကြားပေးထားသော (SVT) ဆရာများအနက်မှ တစ်ဦးဖြစ်ပြီး ဝေးလံခေါင်သီသော ဒေသများရှိ တိုင်းရင်းသားများအတွက် ပညာရေးဝန်ဆောင်မှုများကို လက်လှမ်းမီနိုင်စေရန်လည်းဖြစ်သည်။
နွေရာသီအားလပ်ရက်သင်တန်းကို RISE ကွန်ရက်မှတစ်ဆင့် မတ်လမှ မေလအတွင်း ပို့ချပေးလျက်ရှိပြီး အဆိုပါသင်တန်းသည် ကျောင်းသားဗဟိုပြုသင်ကြားနည်းများနှင့် ဘာသာရပ်ဆိုင်ရာ အသိပညာများဖြင့် လက်ရှိရပ်ရွာနှင့် အမျိုးသားကျောင်းဆရာများ (ဝန်ဆောင်မှုပေးမည့် ဆရာအသစ်များ) ကို အဆင့်မြှင့်တင်ရန်နှင့် ဒေသခံဆရာများအကြား အတွေ့အကြုံ၊ အသိပညာများကို မျှဝေနိုင်စေရန် ရည်ရွယ်ပါသည်။
သူမအနေဖြင့် သင်တန်းများမှနေ၍ ဆရာဆရာမများ၏ အခန်းကဏ္ဍနှင့် တာဝန်များ၊ သင်ကြားနည်းစနစ်များ၊ နည်းလမ်းများ၊ သင်ကြားရေးနှင့် သင်ယူမှုဆိုင်ရာပစ္စည်းများ ဖန်တီးခြင်း၊ မေးခွန်းထုတ်ခြင်း စွမ်းရည်များနှင့် SVT သင်တန်းမှ သင်ယူမှုပုံစံများနှင့် သက်ဆိုင်သည့် ဘာသာရပ်အချို့ကိုလည်း သင်ယူနိုင်ခဲ့သည်။
“ဒီသင်တန်းမှာ ပါဝင်ခွင့်ရတဲ့အတွက် ဝမ်းသာပါတယ်။ သင်ကြားရေးနည်းလမ်းများစွာကို သင်ယူရုံသာမက အသိပညာတွေကို မျှဝေကာ အခြားသူတွေနဲ့ ဆက်ဆံရေးတည်ဆောက်နိုင်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။
