21-year old teacher Naw Paw, currently teaching lower and upper primary grades in Kayin State. She has taught in community schools for 2 years and received teacher professional development from KTWG/SEAQ2 four times.
In 2022, through the Norad and ADRA Norway funded SEAQE2 project, she was able to attend “Teacher Summer Vacation Training.” This training offered different learning sessions to teachers in Kayin areas, especially teachers from rural areas, to gain knowledge and skills and to teach effectively.
She learned about the new teaching methods from attending a summer vocational training hosted by the SEAQE2 project, which provides services to teachers.
“Teacher training programs offer teachers new methods to keep our classroom and curriculum fresh, exciting, and highly knowledgeable. The training provides access to a new style of teaching. I have learned new and fun ways of teaching in this summer vacation training program”.
Her first teaching experience was poor with practical teaching methods in the classroom. After she engaged in the training program, she gained new knowledge to improve her educational skills, overall organization, technical knowledge, and effective teaching methods, which brought back the interest of the students in the classroom and encouraged their learning.
She was so happy and delighted to learn more about effective teaching and learning methods from the different learning sessions of the training. Her students are also enthusiastic and involved in her classroom discussions.
She believes these knowledges she has gained will support her to promote effective teaching in the schools in the future.

ရပ်ရွာဆရာများအား ပညာရေးအထောက်အပံ့ပေးခြင်း
အသက် ၂၁ နှစ်အရွယ် ဆရာမ နော်ဖောသည် လက်ရှိ ကရင်ပြည်နယ်တွင် မူလတန်းနှင့် အထက်တန်းများကို သင်ကြားပေးနေသူဖြစ်သည်။
သူမအနေဖြင့် ရပ်ရွာကျောင်းများတွင် ၂ နှစ်ကြာ သင်ကြားခဲ့ပြီး KTWG/SEAQ2 စီမံကိန်းမှ ဆရာအတတ်သင် သင်တန်းလေးကြိမ် ရရှိခဲ့သည်။ ၂၀၂၂ ခုနှစ်တွင် Norad နှင့် ADRA Norway မှ ထောက်ပံ့သော SEAQE2 စီမံကိန်းမှတစ်ဆင့် သူမသည် “Teacher Summer Vacation Training” ကို တက်ရောက်နိုင်ခဲ့သည်။ အဆိုပါသင်တန်းသည် ကရင်ပြည်နယ်ရှိ ဆရာ၊ ဆရာမများ အထူးသဖြင့် ကျေးလက်ဒေသမှ ဆရာများအား အသိပညာ အတတ်ပညာများနှင့် ထိရောက်စွာ သင်ကြားပေးနိုင်ရန်အတွက် အမျိုးမျိုးသော သင်ကြားရေး အစီအစဉ်များကို ပို့ချပေးနိုင်ခဲ့သည်။
ဆရာ၊ ဆရာမများအတွက် အထောက်အပံ့ပေးသည့် SEAQE2 စီမံကိန်းမှ စီစဉ်ကျင်းပသည့် နွေရာသီ အသက်မွေးဝမ်းကြောင်းသင်တန်းကို တက်ရောက်ခြင်းမှ သင်ကြားရေးနည်းလမ်းအသစ်များကို သင်ယူနိုင်ခဲ့သည်။
“ဆရာ လေ့ကျင့်ရေး အစီအစဉ်တွေက သင်ရိုးညွှန်းတမ်းတွေကို ဆန်းသစ်စေပြီး အသိပညာဗဟုသုတတွေတိုးလာဖို့ ကျွန်မတို့လိုဆရာ၊ဆရာမတွေအတွက် နည်းလမ်းအသစ်တွေနဲ့ ပံ့ပိုးပေးနိုင်ပါတယ်။ ဒီနွေရာသီအားလပ်ရက် လေ့ကျင့်ရေး အစီအစဉ်မှာလည်း ပျော်ရွှင်စရာ သင်ကြားနည်းအသစ်တွေကို သင်ယူခဲ့ရပါတယ်”
သူမ၏ ယခင်က ပထမဆုံးစာသင်ကြားမှု အတွေ့အကြုံတွင် အခက်အခဲအချို့ကြုံတွေ့ခဲ့ရသည်။ ယခုအခါ သင်တန်းအစီအစဉ်တွင်ပါဝင်ပြီးနောက် သူမအနေဖြင့် သင်ကြားရေးနှင့် ပတ်သက်သော အသိပညာ၊ ဗဟုသုတများကို ရရှိခဲ့ပြီး ကျောင်းသားများ၏ စာသင်ယူမှုတို့ကိုလည်း ပိုမိုတိုးတက်လာစေရန် တွန်းအားပေးနိုင်ခဲ့သည်။
ထို့ပြင်သင်တန်း၏ မတူညီသော သင်ယူမှုသင်ခန်းစာများမှ ထိရောက်သော လေ့ကျင့်သင်ကြားမှုနှင့် သင်ယူမှုနည်းလမ်းများအကြောင်းကိုလည်း ပိုမိုလေ့လာခွင့်ရရှိသည့်အပေါ်တွင်လည်း သူမအနေဖြင့် ပျော်ရွှင်ဝမ်းမြောက်ဖြစ်ခဲ့ရသည်။ သူမ၏ ကျောင်းသားကျောင်းသူများအနေဖြင့်လည်း စိတ်အားထက်သန်ပြီး သူမ၏ စာသင်ခန်းအတွင်း ဆွေးနွေးမှုများတွင် ပါဝင်ခဲ့ကြသည်။
သင်တန်းမှတစ်ဆင့် သူမရရှိခဲ့သော သင်ကြားရေးဆိုင်ရာ အသိပညာဗဟုသုတများသည် နောင်အခါ စာသင်ကျောင်းများတွင် ထိရောက်သောသင်ကြားမှုကိုမြှင့်တင်ရာတွင် တစ်ဖက်တစ်လှမ်းမှနေ၍ အထောက်အကူဖြစ်စေမည်ဟု သူမအနေဖြင့် ယုံကြည်ထားသည်ဖြစ်သည်။
“ဆရာတွေအနေနဲ့ ကျောင်းသားတွေရဲ့ သင်ယူမှုကို နှိုးဆော်ပေးနိုင်ဖို့ ပိုမိုကောင်းမွန်တဲ့ သင်ကြားရေး နည်းလမ်းတွေကို သင်ယူကြရမှာလည်းဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ကောင်းမွန်တဲ့ သင်ကြားရေးအလေ့အကျင့်တွေနဲ့ အပြုသဘောဆောင်တဲ့ သင်ယူမှုပတ်ဝန်းကျင်က ကျောင်းသားတွေရဲ့အရည်အချင်းအဆင့်တွေကို ပံ့ပိုးကူညီပေးနိုင်တဲ့အပြင် ဆရာတစ်ဦးအနေနဲ့လည်း တိုးတက်မှုအတွက် အထောက်အကူဖြစ်စေပါတယ်”
