28 year old Naw Htoo is a wonderful teacher for her students. She has two brothers; one sister and her parents work on a farm to support them.
Naw Htoo completed her study in 2018 in a refugee camp achieving a BTH and now supports her younger brother and sister in their education endeavors.
Now in her second year of the NFE program supported by the SEAQE2 project, Naw Htoo has faced many challenges in teaching her students alongside her colleague. In one class of 32, students range in different levels, so management of the classroom, curriculum and lesson planning is difficult.
The 2 teachers together decided to split the students into 2 groups based on knowledge to ease teaching in the classroom.
Despite the many challenges, the community have been very welcoming and accepting of Naw Htoo and her teaching colleague. A small house was built for them to stay. The PTA leaders have been active and provided full support to the NFE program for out of school children.
PTA leaders actively advocate for the program to other villages by handing out forms for those who are interested to join.
Since ADRA Myanmar constructed the school for learning, most out-of-school children have returned to school, and some have even quit drinking and
smoking to join the NFE program.
The program is divided into two batches, each 5 months in duration. Some of the students who completed the NFE
program, have gone on to join the TVET livelihood program which is also
facilitated by ADRA Myanmar in Kayin State. Other students will enrol in formal education this coming academic year in many KECD schools.
NFE အစီအစဉ်မှသည် ကျောင်းပြင်ပရောက်ကလေးများ ကျောင်းပြန်လည်တက်ရောက်လာစေခြင်း
အသက် ၂၈ နှစ်အရွယ် မနော်ထူးသည် သူမ၏တပည့်များအတွက် အံ့သြဖွယ်ကောင်းသော ဆရာမတစ်ဦးလည်းဖြစ်ပေသည်။ သူမတွင် အစ်ကိုနှစ်ဦးနှင့် ညီမတစ်ဦးရှိပြီး မိဘများသည် သူမတို့အားထောက်ပံ့ရန်အတွက် လယ်ယာလုပ်ငန်းကိုအဓိကထား လုပ်ကိုင်ကြသည်။
နော်ထူးသည် ဒုက္ခသည်စခန်းတစ်ခုတွင် ၂၀၁၈ က သူမ၏ပညာရေးကို ပြီးမြောက်ခဲ့ပြီး သူမမောင်နှမများ၏ ပညာရေးအတွက် အထောက်အပံ့ များကို သူမဆက်လက်ပေးခဲ့သည်။
SEAQE2 စီမံကိန်းမှပံ့ပိုးပေးထားသည့် NFE အစီအစဉ်တွင် ဆရာမတစ်ဦးအဖြစ် သူမတာဝန်ယူနေသည်မှာ ဒုတိယနှစ် ရှိပြီဖြစ်ပြီး သူမအနေဖြင့် လုပ်ဖော်ကိုင်ဖက်များနှင့်အတူ သင်ကြားရာတွင် အခက်အခဲများစွာ ရင်ဆိုင်ခဲ့ရသည်။ ကျောင်းသား ၃၂ ဦးရှိသော စာသင်ခန်းတစ်ခန်းတွင် ကျောင်းသားများသည် မတူညီကာ ကွဲပြားခြားနားကြသည်။ ထို့ကြောင့် စာသင်ခန်း၊ သင်တန်းညွန်းတမ်းနှင့် သင်ခန်းစာစီစဉ်မှုများကို စီမံရန်
အခက်အခဲများရှိနေသည်။ ယင်းကြောင့်ဆရာများအနေဖြင့် သင်ကြားမှုလွယ်ကူစေရန်အတွက် ကျောင်းသားများအား ၄င်းတို့၏အသိအမြင် ဗဟုသုတအပေါ်တွင် အခြေခံ၍ အုပ်စုနှစ်ခုခွဲ၍ သင်ကြားရန် ဆုံးဖြတ်ခဲ့ကြသည်။
စိန်ခေါ်မှုများစွာရှိနေသော်လည်း ရပ်ရွာလူထုသည် မနော်ထူးနှင့် သူမ၏သင်ကြားရေးဆိုင်ရာ လုပ်ဖော်ကိုင်ဖက်များအား အလွန်တရာပင် ကြိုဆိုအားပေးလက်ခံပေးလျက်ရှိသည်။ သူမတို့နေထိုင်ရန်အတွက် နေအိမ်လေးတစ်လုံးကိုလည်း ဆောက်လုပ်ပေးထားခဲ့သည်။ မိဘဆရာအသင်းအဖွဲ့ခေါင်းဆောင်များကလည်း ကျောင်းပြင်ပကလေးများအတွက် NFE အစီအစဉ်တွင် တက်ကြွစွာကူညီပါဝင်အားဖြည့်ပေးခဲ့ကြသည်။
ထို့ပြင် အခြားကျေးရွာများမှ စိတ်ပါဝင်စားသူများကိုလည်း ယင်းအစီအစဉ်တွင်ပါဝင်လာနိုင်စေရန်အတွက် ဖောင်ပုံစံများဝေငှပေးတို့လုပ်ဆောင် ခြင်းအားဖြင့် မိဘဆရာအသင်းအဖွဲ့ခေါင်းဆောင်များသည် တက်ကြွစွာစည်းရုံးဆောင်ရွက်နိုင်ခဲ့ကြသည်။
ADRA Myanmar အနေဖြင့် သင်ကြားရေးအတွက် စာသင်ကျောင်းများ ဆောက်လုပ်ပေးပြီးချိန်မှစ၍ ကျောင်းပြင်ပရောက်ကလေးငယ်အများစုသည် ကျောင်းသို့ပြန်လည်တက်ရောက်ကြကာ တချို့မှာလည်း NFE အစီအစဉ်တွင် ပါဝင်ရန်အတွက် အရက်နှင့် ဆေးလိပ်သောက်သုံးမှုတို့ကို ဖြတ်လိုက်ကြသူများပင် ရှိနေသည်ဖြစ်သည်။
အဆိုပါစာသင်ကြားခြင်းအစီအစဉ်သည် ငါးလကြာမြင့်ပြီး သင်တန်းအမှတ်စဉ်နှစ်ခု ခွဲထားသည်။ ယင်းအစီအစဉ်တွင် ပြီးမြောက်ခဲ့သော ကျောင်းသားအချို့သည် ကရင်ပြည်နယ်အတွင်း ADRA Myanmar က ပံ့ပိုးပေးလျက်ရှိသော TVET အသက်မွေးဝမ်းကြောင်းသင်တန်းသို့ တက်ရောက်ကြသည်လည်း ဖြစ်သည်။
