A TEES teacher, Sai Zar Lu is from Tangyan Township, Northern Shan State. He is 22 years old and he has two siblings. His parents are working on a farm for their living. In 2018, he stopped his study and started teaching as a Shan Mother Tongue Teacher in a village in Tangyan Township.
In 2020-21, Sai became a full-time TEES teacher supported by the CASE2Learn project. He is one of hundreds of TEES (Teachers Establishing Education Services) teachers trained in the CASE2Learn project funded by the European Union in partnership with ADRA Germany, ADRA UK and RISE reaching remote ethnic communities to increase access to education services.
He is currently teaching 42 students in a village of about 50 households. The school where he teaches has Grades 1 to 4. One of the graduates from the Teacher Preparation Center (TPC), or Pre-service training program, is helping him to teach in the school.
The school also receives teaching and learning materials through the CASE2Learn project. At the same time, the teacher’s stipend is also supported by this project.
A TEES school becomes a space for partners, villagers, village heads and religious leaders, teachers, and students to be more friendly. They have better coordination in their children’s education and they can form a school committee. Besides mother tongue language, the community also supports the teaching of Burmese and English Languages for their children.
With the advent of TEES, parents in the village have become more interested in their children’s education, and they have become happier. Parents can take care of their farms when their children go to school, they don’t have to worry about their children as they feel that their children are safe.
Students try hard in their studies with more teaching and learning support. They also become happy, more sociable and friendly, and more polite. Parents also become more interested in education as there is now a future for their children. They want to send their children to middle or secondary school until they gain a higher degree.
ကလေးများအား မျှော်လင့်ချက်နှင့် အနာဂတ်ကိုပေးသော TEES ဆရာ
TEES ဆရာတစ်ဦးဖြစ်သူ စိုင်းဇာလူသည် ရှမ်းပြည်နယ်မြောက်ပိုင်း တန့်ယန်းမြို့နယ်မှ ဖြစ်သည်။ သူသည် အသက် ၂၂ နှစ်ရှိပြီး မွေးချင်းနှစ်ဦးရှိကာ မိဘများသည် လယ်ယာလုပ်ကိုင်ကြသည်။ ၂၀၁၈ ခုနှစ်တွင် သူ၏ပညာရေးကို ရပ်တန့်ခဲ့ပြီး တန့်ယန်းမြို့နယ်ရှိ ကျေးရွာတစ်ရွာတွင် မိခင်ရှမ်းဘာသာစကားသင်ကြားပေးသော ဆရာတစ်ဦးအဖြစ် စတင်လုပ်ကိုင်ခဲ့သည်။
ယင်းနောက် ၂၀၂၀- ၂၀၂၁ ခုနှစ်တွင် CASE2Learn စီမံကိန်းမှပံ့ပိုးပေးသော အချိန်ပြည့် TEES ဆရာတစ်ဦး ဖြစ်လာသည်။ သူအနေဖြင့် ADRA နှင့် RISE တို့အတူတကွ ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်ပြီး ဥရောပသမဂ္ဂက ထောက်ပံ့ထားသော CASE2Learn စီမံကိန်းတွင် လေ့ကျင့်သင်ကြားထားသော TEES ဆရာများအနက်မှ ဆရာတစ်ဦးလည်းဖြစ်လာသည်။
လက်ရှိတွင် အိမ်ထောင်စု ၅၀ ခန့်ရှိသော ရွာတစ်ရွာတွင် ကျောင်းသား ၄၂ ဦးကို စာသင်ကြားပေးလျက်ရှိသည်။ အဆိုပါကျောင်းတွင် Grade 1 မှ Grade 4 အထိရှိပြီး Teacher Preparation Center(TPC) (သို့)Pre- service training အစီအစဉ်မှ သင်တန်းပြီးစီးထားသော ဆရာတစ်ဦးကလည်း ကျောင်းတွင် သူ့အားဝိုင်းဝန်းကူညီသင်ကြားပေးလျက်ရှိသည်။
ယင်းကျောင်းသည် စီမံကိန်းမှတစ်ဆင့် သင်ထောက်ကူပစ္စည်းများနှင့် သင်ကြားရေးပစ္စည်းများကို အထောက်အပံ့ရရှိပြီး တစ်ဆက်တည်းမှာပင် စီမံကိန်းကလည်း ဆရာများအတွက် ထောက်ပံ့ကြေးကိုလည်း ပံ့ပိုးပေးသည်ဖြစ်သည်။
TEES ကျောင်းသည် မိတ်ဖက်များ၊ ရွာသူရွာသားများ၊ ဘာသာရေးခေါင်းဆောင်များနှင့် ဆရာများ၊ ကျောင်းသားများကို ပိုမိုရင်းနှီးလာစေရန် ဆောင်ကျဉ်းပေးနိုင်သည့် နေရာတစ်ခုလည်းဖြစ်လာသည်။ သားသမီးများ၏ပညာရေးအတွက် ပိုမိုကောင်းမွန်သော ညှိနှိုင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှု များရှိနေပြီး ကျောင်းကော်မတီများလည်း ဖွဲ့စည်းနိုင်လာစေသည်။ ကလေးများအတွက် မိခင်ဘာသာစကားသင်ကြားပေးခြင်းအပြင် မြန်မာနှင့် အင်္ဂလိပ် ဘာသာစကား လေ့လာသင်ကြားပေးမှုတွင်လည်း လူမှုအသိုင်းအဝိုင်းကလည်း တစ်ဖက်တစ်လှမ်းမှ ကူညီပံ့ပိုးပေးပါသည်။
Teachers Establishing Education Services (TEES) တွင်ကျယ်လာသည်နှင့်အမျှ ရွာရှိမိဘများမှာလည်း မိမိတို့၏သားသမီးများ ကျောင်းသွားနေချိန်တွင် မိမိတို့၏လယ်ယာအလုပ်ကို စိတ်ဖြောင့်စွာနှင့် လုပ်ကိုင်နိုင်ကြပြီး သားသမီးများလည်း ဘေးကင်းသည်ဟုခံစားရသည့်
အတွက်ကြောင့် ၄င်းတို့အနေဖြင့် သားသမီးများ၏ ပညာရေးကိုလည်း ပိုမိုစိတ်ပါဝင်စားလာကြသည်။
သင်ကြားခြင်းနှင့် လေ့လာခြင်းဆိုင်ရာ ပံ့ပိုးပေးမှုများကြောင့်လည်း ကလေးများသည် သင်ယူလေ့လာမှုကို ပိုမိုအားထုတ်လာကြပြီး ပိုမိုကြိုးစားကြသည်။ မိဘများအနေဖြင့်လည်း သားသမီးများ၏ ပညာရေးအတွက် ပိုမိုစိတ်ပါဝင်စားလာပြီး အနာဂတ်အတွက်မျှော်လင့်ချက်များ ရှိလာကြသည်။ သားသမီးများအားအတန်းပညာများပြီးမြောက်စေကာ ပညာတတ်ကြီးများ ဖြစ်လာစေရန် ဆန္ဒများကရှိနေသည်။
“TEES ရဲ့အခန်းကဏ္ဍမှာ တစ်စိတ်တစ်ပိုင်းဖြစ်ရတာ ဂုဏ်ယူမိပါတယ်။ ရလာတဲ့ဗဟုသုတတွေကို ကလေးတွေကို ပြန်သင်ပေးနိုင်သလို မြန်မာဘာသာစကားကိုလည်း သင်ပေးနိုင်လို့ ဂုဏ်ယူမိပါတယ်။”
